Trainees get cutting edge skills at COTHM’s chocolate workshop

Exquisite, dainty, and colorful chocolates tiered COTHM’s baking kitchen Wednesday morning as European trained chef looked on to conduct the most awaited Chocolate Workshop.

The class allowed the attendees to explore all the facets of chocolate making. The world-class chocolate in the hands of the internationally acclaimed chocolatier and pastry chef proved wonders.

Led by Chef Muhammad Anwer Amin, the workshop taught the ins and outs of chocolate, including the properties of chocolate and how to utilize it to create chocolate-based recipes and mold chocolate shapes.

The chef introduced students to a truly tasteful learning experience with Callebaut chocolate in the process of making hazelnut chocolate bars, ganache, pralines chocolate truffles, chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate covered cereals, and white chocolate with orange zest.

At the end of the course, each participant received a certificate and a recipe, as well as an apron and of course, the exquisite treats prepared in class!
